Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2020

As we saw last week with Far Neinte’s 96-Point Nickel & Nickel State Ranch Cab – the 2020 vintage was nothing but kind to the Napa Valley icons. Of course it helps when you have these riches of vineyards to choose from.

Their beloved Napa Valley Cabernet comes from a who’s who of the best vineyard sites in Napa. It’s a seamless Cabernet blend sourced from Oakville, Stag’s Leap, Diamond Mountain, St. Helena, Calistoga, Oak Knoll and the winery’s estate fruit in Yountville.

It’s always absolutely killer – so they have no problem fetching the release price of $155/btl. In fact, they usually have a problem keeping enough inventory in stock to last the year. But in 2020, as some of the usual restaurants and collectors ran for the hills – a rare opportunity has emerged for us.
