Three times named International Wine & Spirit Competition’s Best Argentine Producer, Herve Fabre Montmayou is consistently one of the best wineries Argentina has to offer. The Malbec is sourced from one of the most extreme environments in the world. Its ancient vines are rooted in sandy desert high above the Rio Negro, where temperatures can swing 45 degrees in either direction, not an easy place to grow grapes. But it is those extremes that bring out the best in Malbec, and nobody knows his way around the vineyards like Herve Fabre.
His brand new release of Malbec Rose is his first pink wine, but unsurprisingly it tastes like an every year staple already. It’s so juicy and inviting– perfect with summer cuisine. Bold and spicy components to go with a hint of jasmine and floral notes. Wild strawberry and a dash of saline on the finish.

This is a perennially highly rated Cabernet Franc that is actually hand harvested in small trays to avoid bruising any of the fruit. The results are simply amazing. More than half the Cabernet Franc that comes in is rejected, prioritizing only the best grapes. This makes for a super energetic Cabernet with juicy red and black fruits, and the signature dash of a mint on the finish. It’s insanely good.
It has that vibrant and jammy mix of red and dark fruits with great structure and tannins and a sleek core. It’s a BIG RED that dances in the glass and with a very modest price tag. It’s such an easy ‘buy’.
The just released 2023 Crochet Sancerre Rosé is drawn from the high elevations of Janine and Teddy Crochet’s Pinot Noir vines in the village of Bué. The conditions are perfect for crisp, delicious Sancerre Rosé. Salmon-pink in color with a pretty nose featuring aromas of roses, orange peel and Bing cherry notes. This is as well-balanced as always with terrific fruit flavors of citrus and red berries with racy a high-toned finish.

The winery made famous by Brad Pitt and Angelina is more famous in the wine world for their fleet of top Provencal Roses made by none other than superstar winemaker Marc Perrin, who has countless times turned the wine world on its head with his 100-point Chateauneuf du Papes at Chateau de Beaucastel. His 2022 Miraval Rose has a great salmon color with juicy notes of macerated cherries, strawberry currants, citrus and a lemon zest. It flashes that refreshing minerality that has become a Provence signature but crafted at 1100 ft above sea level, its crispness and vibrancy is unparalleled.
