For years, we’ve sold oceans of Tony Soter’s Etude Lyric Pinot Noir for fifteen bucks a bottle or so. Other than CHAD, it’s pretty much the only ‘value’ domestic Pinot Noir I’ve ever cared for.
But just like everything else the last couple of years, the price has been steadily rising. A quick check on Wine.com yesterday showed it at $22. Still a great price.
But after some heavy arm twisting with the wholesaler, we’re able to revisit those glory days from four years ago and actually BEAT them by a decent margain!
Etude’s Lyric cuvee is a pure ruby color to the core with a nose that is just a fantastic bowl of ripe berries. Intensely fruity with notes of baking spices, sandalwood and earth, this Pinot has a long, silky finish. Pair with roasted salmon or poultry or enjoy just by itself.
