The 2017 Horse Hills comes roaring right out of the gates with beautiful, clean red fruits. On the attack, the wine offers intricately woven youthful tannins that give the wine a delicious and slightly chewy taste.
James Suckling called the wine, “very well crafted and refined” with “creamy tannins and a delicious finish.” That’s true, and it’s also incredible fresh and well built.
This one drinks nearly as well as its $65 older brother, but since we locked in a full year ago – you can have it for a much more gulpable price.
