Located just north of Aix-en-Provence, Guillaume’s organically farmed vines are sheltered by the massive forest of Parc Naturel Regional du Luberon and surrounded by a spectacular landscape of wildflowers, herbs, and oak trees.
The elevation, between 250 and 350m above sea level, leads to a long growing season, with warm days and cool nights. The rich biodiversity there mixed with diurnal changes of temperature create healthy vines and grapes teeming with complexity and energy, qualities you rarely ever see in a wine that checks in for less than $20/bottle.
The wine itself is dark purple in color, with lifted aromatics of black cherry, lavender, thyme, and anise. The fruit is pure, juicy, and vibrant with great tension. The finish is classic Provençal, savory and stony, super fresh and long.
