Lydia Cornu naturally farms small parcels in Pernand Vergelesses, Hautes Cotes de Beaune and the Hautes Côtes de Nuits. The Cornu family has grown grapes here for 600 years! That expertise is important as the high elevation and cooler microclimates of these appellations require perfectly positioned vineyards and impeccable farming to produce consistently ripe grapes. They farm without chemicals, harvest by hand, press the grapes à pied and transfer to barrels by gravity.
This wine is a joy to drink, a bowl full of berries on the nose, mineral-laced fruit in the mid palate with the structure and length that is the hallmark of Cornu-Camus wines. This estate has become our go-to source for red and white Burgundy that blow the doors of the quality-price-ratio.

Lydia Cornu makes old-school red Burgundy; with almost crunchy fruit and a sharp vibrancy that makes it just sing with food!
It’s a terrific wine for the cuisine of summer; grill some salmon, sauté some morels and serve with simple, earthy farro.
