Ripe yellow peach and delicate floral aromas leap out of each amber-hued pour. On the elegantly structured palate, expect rich stone fruit, blood orange, and almond flavors, followed by an epically long finish.

Attractive aromas of dried apricots and dried mangoes with hints of caramel, fresh honey, exotic spice and dried orange. It’s dense and creamy with vivid acidity coming through. Rich but not overly sweet, with hints of oolong tea and orange blossom at the end. Delicious. Drink or hold.

DisznókÅ‘, which translates to “Boar’s Rock,” sits on the southern slopes of the Zemplén Mountains where clay and volcanic soil create the perfect foundation for Furmint, Hárslevelű, and Sárgamuskotály grapes. The microclimate, influenced by the nearby Bodrog and Tisza rivers, produces the ideal conditions for Botrytis cinerea—noble rot—which transforms these grapes into something extraordinary.

The 5 Puttonyos is made from individually hand-picked botrytized berries, macerated for half a day, then aged 18 months in oak. What you get is layers of apricot, orange peel, honey, mango, dried fruit, and exotic spices, all held together by electrifying acidity. This isn’t the heavy, oxidized Tokaji of the past—DisznókÅ‘ focuses on purity of fruit, vibrant acidity, and freshness.
