Deloach Russian River Chardonnay 2019

This is classic cool-climate Russian River Valley Chardonnay on display. De Loach uses estate grates combined with selected fruit from sustainable growers to make a Chardonnay that’s consistently excellent. Capturing the essence of what was a cooler year in the RRV valley, this one is very elegant with beautiful natural acidity. It underwent some Malo and was fermented in 50% French oak barrels, emparting a bit more elegance and sophistication than you’d expect in this range. This one is fruit-forward and generous, a crowd pleaser for sure.
