Daniel Ford Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2024

This is still a Nicholas Wines New Jersey exclusive and one of the best deals you’ll see all year. The 2024 vintage in the Willamette Valley was nothing short of a miracle for winemakers and bookkeepers alike. Incredibly juicy, healthy clusters with fruit purity and balance that speaks volumes about what Oregon is capable of in a great year. But here’s what really excites me about this bottling vs last year: this year checks in with slightly lower alcohol but way more depth of personality. Intricate red and black fruited flavors all wonderful strung together. That combination is incredibly rare and special. This is a Pinot Noir that drinks with elegance and precision while delivering more complexity than its price tag would suggest. This wine shouldn’t be priced anywhere near as well as we get it for. And yet here we are!

Original price was: $40.00.Current price is: $17.00.

After several years in different roles at RNDC, Colin Eddy accepted the role of National Sales Manager with Penner-Ash Wine Cellars and relocated to Oregon. The rest is history.

When his son Daniel Eddy was born, Colin decided to realize a lifelong dream and start his own wine label. Knowing the Willamette Valley inside and out, he told me that there was only one person he wanted as the winemaker for his project: “It had to be Anne Sery. I couldn’t start this project without her.” Her meticulous attention to detail, her incredible ‘Burgundian inspired’ expressions of Pinot Noir. Knowing that Anne was already making wine for Solena, Hyland Estates and Trousse Chemise, Colin knew it would it would be a tough feat to get her, but their shared loved for their sons helped forge a special friendship which should make us all happy.
