After several years in different roles at RNDC, Colin Eddy accepted the role of National Sales Manager with Penner-Ash Wine Cellars and relocated to Oregon. The rest is history.
When his son Daniel Eddy was born, Colin decided to realize a lifelong dream and start his own wine label. Knowing the Willamette Valley inside and out, he told me that there was only one person he wanted as the winemaker for his project: “It had to be Anne Sery. I couldn’t start this project without her.” Her meticulous attention to detail, her incredible ‘Burgundian inspired’ expressions of Pinot Noir. Knowing that Anne was already making wine for Solena, Hyland Estates and Trousse Chemise, Colin knew it would be a tough feat to get her, but their shared loved for their sons helped forge a special friendship which should make us all happy.
After two straight pallet sellouts to the Nicholas Wines faithful, Colin was so excited by our success that he took out his Rolodex and called every Oregon number in his phone. He struck one last incredible deal from the 2023 vintage and immediately called Anne Sery with the good news.
“Anne, I just got some special, special juice. Could you please make a pallet of Rose and Arrow Cuvée Pinot Noir to send to our new friends in Red Bank, NJ?”
