91 Points, James Suckling
“A nice, fruity red with lots of fresh red and black berry aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with a balanced, fruity palate and just a hint of firmness at the end.”

There are few wineries in Sicily or anywhere who are making such good wine at this good of a price. The 2020 Nero d’Avola is the perfect example. It’s a robust wine with a deep ruby red color and some darker fruits that join in on the fun. It’s a fruit-forward, approachable style with firm tannins that make it a great candidate to be enjoyed with foods, particular poultry, red meat and dried cheeses.
