93 Points, Decanter
“Very attractive oak nuances with seasoned notes of blackcurrant and pomegranate. Well structured, rich and textured palate. Delicious and long.”

A fresh and juicy red with notes of dark berries and red spices and hints of dried orange peel. Medium-bodied, textured and crunchy in the smooth, polished finish. 50% cabernet sauvignon and 50% merlot. Vegan. Drink now.
Marc and Agnès Lurton have owned Château Reynier since 1980 and completely transformed it. They bought an overplanted, mass-produced mess and carefully turned it into a 100% organic, fully sustainable vineyard. Their wines are what make Bordeaux so great: inviting, fresh, balanced and incredibly food-friendly.
The vines here grow on unique limestone subsoil, and everything they do is Certified Organic, Certified Vegan, and HVE (High Environmental Value). The philosophy is simple: the healthier the vineyards, the healthier the wine. With this stellar 2020 bottling, I can taste exactly what Marc Lurton means when he says these wines have never been better.
