Broadbent Pinot Noir Central Coast 2024

92 Points, The Tasting Panel

The 92-point Broadbent Central Coast Pinot Noir earned its high score from Tasting Panel for a wine they dubbed “rapturous, juicy, complex, and mysterious.”

The team makes this blend a little different than you’d expect for a Pinot. The blend is 92% Pinot Noir with small additions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petite Sirah, showing expressive aromas of red cherry, strawberry, and subtle floral and earthy notes. It’s so juicy, yet so balanced with vibrant red fruit, soft tannins, and a refined, lingering finish.

Original price was: $18.00.Current price is: $14.00.

92 Points, The Tasting Panel
Rapturous notes of cherry-tobacco and graphite connect with sleek tannins. Woodsy, with black tea and Worcestershire, it’s juicy, complex, and mysterious.

The reason Trevor Sheehan and Bartholomew Broadbent are able to make this happen is due to unparalleled Broadbent family relationships in California that span decades. This fruit comes from cool, fog-kissed vineyards from growers he’s known for 35 years, hand-harvested and aged 10 months in French oak.

If these guys are making Pinot Noir this stinking good, at a price this affordable, out of the Central Coast of all places, then everyone is in big trouble! This is a runaway success and one of our best values of the year.
