Booker’s ‘Kentucky Tea Batch’ Small Batch Bourbon 2022-03

Category

This is another super limited production project from the Bourbon leaders, Booker’s and their iconic master distiller, Freddie Noe. They’re calling this batch ‘Kentucky Tea Batch’ and it was just released this week from their March 2022 bottling. It’s another uncut and unfiltered monster that was aged seven years, four months and 14 days and 126.5 proof. (63.25% alc.)

Like all batches of Booker’s Bourbon, Kentucky Tea Batch was selected by Seventh Generation Master Distiller Freddie Noe.

There’s not actually any tea in the Bourbon, but Freddie explains the ode to his late father, “While some may flavor their water with tea leaves, my dad, Booker Noe, loved flavoring his water with bourbon – Kentucky Tea.”

The breakdown is as follows:
46% came from the 6th floor of 7-story warehouse Z
24% came from the 5th floor of 7-story warehouse Q
14% came from the 6th floor of 7-story warehouse Q
12% came from the 4th floor of 7-story warehouse 1
2% came from the 3rd floor of 7-story warehouse 5
1% came from the 4th floor of 7-story warehouse X

Original price was: $215.00.Current price is: $185.00.

The third release of Booker’s Bourbon 2022 Collection is Booker’s Batch 2022-03 “Kentucky Tea Batch.” The release had a hilarious note explaining the name. There’s no tea involved, “While some may flavor their water with tea leaves, Booker Noe, loved flavoring his water with bourbon – Kentucky Tea.” It’s a total gem. Uncut and unfiltered, this small batch came in at a whopping 126.5 proof (63.25% alc.). It was aged seven years, four months and 14 days. I have only a few bottles to go round.
