Blackberry, mint, tobacco and peppery spice open this full-figured Barossa Cab. It’s freshened by mouth-watering acidity and juicy fruit, and framed by sappy, minty tannins. A modern, very well-priced weeknight style to plonk on the dinner table.

This juicy Big Red comes from the foothills of the Barossa Valley, where ancient red friable clay soils combine with a warm, dry climate to create fruit with vibrancy and depth of flavor. The key here is similar to the best Napa Cabs: small berries bring out concentrated, intense flavors.

The grapes are picked at ripeness levels that give the wine an incredible freshness of fruit and an effortless natural balance. The winery ages this in a mixture of French and American oak for a year to continue that process of adding seamless layers. This is a beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon that’s ready to drink right now, though you could certainly sit it another 3-5 years without any problem.
