This isn’t just Sardinia’s most famous wine – it’s one of Italy’s greatest reds, period. The wine that Antonio Argiolas and legendary winemaker Giacomo Tachis (father of an almost infinite number of Italian great reds, from Sassicaia to Tignanello, from Le Pupille’s Saffredi) created to prove that Sardinia could compete with the best of Piedmont and Tuscany.
The now-sacred wine is poured at the Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, and Marea amongst others, the ultimate wine when sommeliers want to show guests what southern Italy can really do.

The name Turriga comes from both the specific vineyard site and an ancient pagan goddess whose 5,000-year-old statue – found by a farmer near these very vineyards – graces every bottle’s label. History, terroir, and winemaking mastery all converging in one wine.
