“Founded in 2012, Andes Plateau is the vision of Felipe Uribe to showcase the textural freshness and aromatic clarity that wines from the Andean foothills tend to display. They source grapes from various high-elevation vineyards across Cachapoal, Maipo and BÃo-BÃo, all with alluvial and colluvial origins, featuring a mix of volcanic, granitic and quartz soils. In the cellar, Uribe uses spontaneous fermentations and vinifies the wines in raw concrete and foudre. The wines remain true to their goals, offering lifted, alpine bouquets and slender, mineral-driven textures with impressive depth.”

These are gorgeous wines made by a husband and wife team in the Maule Valle of Chile. Everything here is family centered, and together Felipe and his wife Maite make an incredible team. Felipe has worked in Burgundy, and Saint Helena as well as the Sonoma Valley at La Crema. Their expertise is rare for the region, and their knowledge of terroir is second to none!
