Alvarez de Toledo Godello 2024

92 Points, Wine Enthusiast – 90 Points, James Suckling

Alvarez de Toledo normally blends two grapes to make this wine: Godello with Verdejo. But when the 2024 Godello fruit came off the vine, it was so irresistible, so perfect that, for the first time, the team made this 100% Godello. That’s a winery putting quality above everything else. They didn’t even have time to print new labels!

These are old vines with deep roots and real character. The fruit is all hand-harvested, fermented in temperature-controlled vats, and aged in stainless steel to preserve every ounce of that beautiful freshness.

Wine Enthusiast gave it 92 points, noting “the ocean very much in the background, creating an overall intriguing effect.” James Suckling came in at 90 points, calling it “Refreshing, simple and gastronomic.” You gotta love the ones where the quality simply blows away the price tag on the bottle.

Original price was: $24.00.Current price is: $14.50.
