The 2022 vintage is a standout, with critics and wine enthusiasts alike praising its complexity and balance. On the nose, expect to find inviting aromas of red berries, floral notes, and a hint of spice, while the palate is greeted with flavors of ripe cherry, raspberry, and a touch of earthiness. The wine’s silky-smooth texture and vibrant acidity make it a joy to drink, with a long, lingering finish that will leave you craving more.
The longtime winemaker atop Pritchard Hill, made a gorgeous, well-polished Napa Valley Cabernet with a core of dark cassis fruit with just the right touch of new oak. Long on the palate and slow to unwind in the glass, the Fiancetto 2021 is absolutely packed with blue and black fruits.
It’s been a while, but we’re finally back today with the new 2022 vintage courtesy of winemaker Cristof Tiefenbrunner. It’s a bright, gorgeous Pinot Grigio in the steep hillsides in the shadow of the oft snow-capped Dolomites. It hits with bright citrus notes infused with mouth watering aromas of tangerine, pear, and saline minerality.

The 2019 vintage of Château Puyanche is their best and highest rated to date. It boasts a harmonious blend of Cab Franc, Merlot, and Cab, showcasing a symphony of flavors that dance on the palate. Expect to be greeted by notes of ripe black fruits, subtle spices, and a hint of oak, all wrapped up in a silky-smooth texture that lingers long after each sip. This is one that is great now, but somehow, even at this price-point offers years more of excellent drinking.
97 Points, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
This exquisite Chardonnay has been meticulously crafted to showcase the best of what California has to offer, with each sip promising a journey through layers of flavor and texture. The palate is greeted with rich notes of ripe tropical fruits, beautifully balanced by a refreshing acidity and a touch of oak. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a lasting impression that will linger on your palate long after the last drop is gone.

92 Points (#57 Top 100 of 2023), Wine Spectator
Jose Manuel Martinez’s flagship Albarino is his ‘Turonia’ bottling. This is age-worthy Albarino that you probably didn’t even know existed. It’s sourced exclusively from decades-old Albarino vines that are precariously set in hillsides of sheer slate. Every vine is over 30 years of age, and Manuel Martinez only chooses the best parcels for the bottling. It should be no wonder then that such a ridiculous good value would make its way into Wine Spectator’s Top 100.
The wine is so dang good, nearly every single one of my staff tried to take the sample bottle home when it was brought into the restaurant. It’s just so juicy, lively and pure. Even without the score, this is a total layup. This is a gorgeous French Rosé at an absurd price. One of the absolute best quality-to-price ratio offers of the year, every single year… no questions asked.
