95 Points, James Suckling
A concentrated and delicious chardonnay that greets you with hazelnut, apricot, fresh mango and pie crust aromas. Some salted caramel and white lavender. It’s full-bodied and intensely flavorful, but very fresh too, with sleek and caressing layers and a deliciously buttery, salty finish. Great length. Drink or hold.

94 Points (Cellar Selecetion), Wine Enthusiast
The creamier notes—melted butter and lemon curd— lead, with nutty, melon- and pineapple-rind notes following. Persistent acidity pulses through the broader texture. Flavors of citrus, toast and ginger linger on the long finish. A classy wine that’s drinking well now, but still has many more years left in it.

This is a huge score for the Nicholas Wines faithful. Europe’s most famous wine critic, Jancis Robinson called Bass Phillip “the DRC of the Southern Hemisphere.” This is the creme de la creme of Australian wine.
