The Faustino Art Collection emerges from the personality of the brand itself: its internationality, diversity, and the Martínez Zabala family’s deep connection to the arts. The iconic Faustino label, originally based on a 1641 Rembrandt painting, has been reimagined by celebrated modern artist Willy Ramos, offering a new dimension to arguably the most iconic brand of Rioja.

This isn’t some upstart producer. In the mid-1800s, Eleuterio Martinez Arzok began selling his wines direct from the barrel throughout Rioja and the Basque regions. By the late 1950s, his descendant Julio Faustino Martinez launched the family label internationally. Today, Bodegas Faustino stands as Rioja’s largest exporter of Gran Reserva wines, with 1600 acres of vineyards located in the upper part of Rioja Alavesa at an altitude between 1500 and 1800 feet.
