Poggio al Sole Trittico 2021

Categories , , ,

Giovanni Davaz is the owner and winemaker of Poggio al Sole. This picturesque estate lies in the commune of Tavernelle Val di Pesa, in the heart of Chianti Classico. Organic farming and low yields create wines with incredible power; dark, brooding colors, intense extraction of fruit and ripe tannins.

The Trittico is a blend of young vine Sangiovese and Cabernet, vinified in stainless steel tanks. The 2021 is a fine example of how good Poggio al Sole is at making wine. It displays a wonderful reddish/purple color with aromas of black raspberry and cherry with a touch of earth. Great fruit and good acidity make it incredibly food friendly, absolutely perfect with pizza or anything coming off the grill.

Original price was: $25.00.Current price is: $18.50.
