Pedro Parra y Familia Wines is more than just a winery; it’s the culmination of a lifelong dream and a passionate crusade by Pedro Parra, a renowned terroir expert with a PhD from Paris and 15 years of international consulting experience.

For Pedro, the mission is simple: to craft pure, unadulterated terroir wines exclusively from granite soils, the kind he loves to drink himself. But perhaps even more compelling is his desire to build this legacy with his family—his wife Camila and children Diego, Felipe, and Colomba—right in his homeland of Concepción, Chile. His vision extends far beyond his own bottles; he aims to shine a global spotlight on the often-overlooked, ancient granitic terroirs of Itata and Bio Bio, seeing their potential much like the now-celebrated regions of Galicia or Morgon were once “unknown to the world.”

This project is also a powerful act of defiance and advocacy. Pedro Parra is passionately committed to supporting the “brave vignerons” of Itata and Bio Bio who have meticulously protected their 200-year-old vines against the pressures of industrial forestry, political neglect, and large wine industries that historically exploited them.
