Oddero Barbera d’Alba 2011

This is a great Barbera with a little bit of age courtesy of one of the best known producers in Piedmont and beyond. The Oddero Barbera d’Alba is always a big, dark, brawny wine, but especially in the hot 2011 vintage in Italy. The best part about this is it probably needed a year or two when it was released to smooth out any rough edges. Now that it has, this is a wonderful Barbera to enjoy now and over the next few years.
