James Suckling called the 2023 vintage in Napa “A Legend in the Making” with “level of quality and consistency that stretched across Napa Valley from its most celebrated estates to its smallest boutique producers.” Needless to say, the team at Michael Pozzan had a field day.

The 2023 Napa Cuvee Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is as good as this wine is since I’ve been tasting it. Double 91-points from two of the toughest critics in the world for a a wine at this price from Oakville is as good as it gets. Wine Spectator called out “a core of juicy red and black currant and cherry preserves gliding along threads of licorice and applewood with a subtle echo of sage through the finish.” Vinous described it it as “Bold and sumptuous with plush contours.” This is a wine that perfectly combines power and elegance. Napa Cab drinkers are going to absolutely love it.
