Mirabeau Cotes de Provence Rose 2022

Domaine Mirabeau has accomplished more in their 15-year history than most wineries could ever dream of achieving. Founded in 2010 by Stephen and Jeany Cronk, the winery quickly rose through the ranks and became one of the best-selling and most critically acclaimed Provencal Roses throughout the world.

They came in at an extremely competitive time, when dozens of new and existing wineries dove deeper into the Rose market as the interest around the world started to explode. Of course, many of those who tried to ride the wave have since ceased operations. The market has since tightened, and is mainly dominated by a few top players like Mirabeau that have captivated palates across many coasts.

The big thing here is the quality. It’s noticeably a few steps above your typical Provencal Rose. It’s a racy blend of mainly Grenache and Cinsault, sourced from the picturesque 25-hectare estate in the countryside of Saint-Tropez. It’s elegant and juicy with good intensity and inviting aromas of red berries, orange peel, strawberry, and spiced ginger. The soft, red currant finish adds to the wine’s overall charm, making it a delightful and approachable choice for any occasion. I can’t believe I’m saying all this about a pink wine!
