Feudo Montoni Rose di Adele 2023

92 Points, Wine Enthusiast – 91 Points, Decanter

Our top-selling Italian Rose is finally back. This baby goes so far above and beyond your typical Provence Rose. Wine Enthusiast couldn’t get enough, writing that “There is a tension between the umami & the floral on the nose, as notes of white flowers and lemon waft a new leather backbone”. Decanter was equally smitten, labeling this beauty as “inviting” and “Well balanced with lively acidity.” This give you everything you want in a Rose – it’s interesting enough to enjoy on its own, but has a great acidic backbone and minerality to pair with a ton of food. Grab a few bottles while you can!

92 Points, Wine Enthusiast
“There is a tension between the umami & the floral on the nose, as notes of white flowers and lemon waft above a new leather backbone. On the palate, citrus candy contributes nuance to that floral freshness, while a cool, stony undercurrent suddenly emerges & adds a feeling of sophistication.”

91 Points, Decanter
“An inviting pale salmon pink colour, this rosé is crisp and refreshing, perfect for sipping on a warm summer evening, but it also has enough going for it in terms of body and flavour to accompany a serious meal. There are notes of fresh apricot, peach, a touch of strawberry and some salinity on the nose, which read as delicate cherry, apricot and blanched almond on the palate. Well balanced with lively acidity and a lingering finish.”

The winery – that few would argue against being the very best in Sicily – has been making top-quality wines on its historic grounds since 1469 and is currently overseen by the uber-talented Fabio Sireci, the third generation of a family dedicated to producing the purest expressions from this long-cultivated terroir.

The wines they make are not just uniquely Italian, but even more so, they are uniquely Sicilian. The varietals are all indigenous: Nero d’Avola, Perricone, Nerello Mascalese, Catarratto, Grillo, Inzolia and Passito. Each of these grapes produce extremely expressive wines that speak to the place from where they come. The smells and sips here are unlike any in the world.
