Château Gassier is situated 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) from Aix en Provence, at the foot of Mount Sainte Victoire. Its 40 hectares (98.84 acres) benefit from an ideal location in the heart of the Arc Valley, protected by Sainte-Victoire in the north, the Regagnas hills in the south and the Aurélien mountains to the east.
It’s a refined, elegant rosé with aromas of white peach and jasmine. Vivid orange-pink. High-pitched strawberry, peach and jasmine scents are complemented by building floral and herb nuances. Silky and energetic on the palate, offering fresh red berry and pit fruit flavors and a hint of bitter orange pith. Finishes silky and precise, displaying very good persistence and a repeating floral note.

We rarely say this, but for a Provencal Rose it’s the absolute truth– this wine pairs with any food you could cook up!
From the famous family behind Peyrassol, comes a new Cotes du Provence smash hit. The wine is pale pink in color with notes of small wild berries on the nose complemented by a hint of juniper. This spiciness lends weight to the liveliness on the palate reminiscent of exotic citrus fruits, creating a crisp, harmonious and refreshing ensemble. Spice lingers on the palate for a full and round finish.

This wine is just so bright and enjoyable to drink but it’s also a pure, soil-driven beauty that is amongst the very best made in the region each year. Of course the New York Times’ Eric Asimov is all over it – featuring his entry-level Beaujolais in his 20 under $20 ‘Finding Bargains Amid Inflation’ feature, declaring that the wine “rises above the potential of the straightforward Beaujolais appellation”. He also called out “unexpected depth” which speaks volumes to what Guignier’s savvy old-vines can yield.
The wine itself is dark purple in color, with lifted aromatics of black cherry, lavender, thyme, and anise. The fruit is pure, juicy, and vibrant with great tension. The finish is classic Provençal, savory and stony, super fresh and long. I’m telling you, this wine absolutely over-delivers. It’s got a beautiful dark color and structure of Cabernet with the fruit and garrigue-spice ala the top Southern Rhone Grenache and Syrah, making this one delicious summer red that is absolutely perfect with burgers on the grill or roasted leg o’ lamb.

The 2019 Wentworth Anderson Valley Pinot Noir is a beauty. Made with 100% Estate Grown, organically farmed fruit from Wentworth’s noteworthy Anderson Valley vineyard. It’s made from a variety of different clones: Dijon 115, 667 and Pommard 5, that seamlessly blend to make an exciting, full-bodied Pinot. You can taste the extra flair courtesy of the 1/4 wholecluster fermentation. This is fresh and juicy and fantastic to pair with food.
