Elouan Oregon Pinot Noir 2017

(1 customer review)

Joe Wagner sources his Elouan from multiple vineyards throughout the state of Oregon, especially in the south of the state. With warmer temperatures and an earlier, longer ripening season towards the Rogue Valley allows for Pinot Noir that is juicy and fruit-forward.

The 2017 is wonderfully ripe, with vibrant flavors of rich cranberry, sweet cinnamon and bright cherry with just a touch of earthiness. It’s packed with fruit and finishes with soft, refined tannins. It’s a great choice for a summer red, delicious by itself or pair with just about anything.

It is difficult to find an Oregonian Pinot for less than $30 a bottle. This could easily sell for $45 a bottle. It is velvety with hints of vanilla. I bought a case to share with friends and family.
