Domaine Rémi Niero is a family-run estate in the Northern Rhône Valley of France, deeply rooted in the traditions of crafting exceptional wines from Viognier and Syrah as well as a tiny bit of Marsanne.
Since 1973, they have been cultivating the steep, terraced hillsides, particularly in the esteemed appellations of Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie. Today, Rémi Niero carries on the legacy passed down by his father Robert, who instilled in him a profound understanding and passion for viticulture. Rémi also expanded the family’s holdings by taking over his father-in-law Jean Pinchon’s vineyard in 1985, further enhancing their presence in this picturesque region.
Despite the demanding nature of the Rhône’s terroir, with its steep slopes requiring significant manual labor, Domaine Niero’s dedication results in wines of remarkable authenticity and natural balance. Over generations, from Jean to Robert and now Rémi, the estate has grown to encompass vineyards in Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie, Saint-Joseph, and Crozes-Hermitage. This allows them to offer a compelling selection of cuvées that showcase the unique characteristics of each of these prestigious Northern Rhône appellations
