Domaine Grosbois was started by the Grosbois brother who fulfilled their childhood dream of traveling and learning the world of wine, with stops in Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and Italy before finally returning back to France and placing roots down in the land that their ancestors came from in the Loire Valley. Most French winemakers don’t leave the country, giving the brothers an added advantage over their peers in terms of methods, tricks and best winemaking practices.
Their gorgeous domaine sits in the heart of the Loire Valley in the town of Panzoult. Here Chinon (Cabernet Franc) is king. The domaine is right on the vank of the Vienne River, and that key location helps them to produce, big, robust and super elegantly structured reds.
