Lydia Cornu naturally farms small parcels in Pernand Vergelesses, Hautes Cotes de Beaune and the Hautes Côtes de Nuits. The Cornu family has grown grapes here for 600 years! That expertise is important as the high elevation and cooler microclimates of these appellations require perfectly positioned vineyards and impeccable farming to produce consistently ripe grapes. The ’18 HCN is a product of old vines and a low yield with no new oak in the ageing process. The wine is a joy to drink, a bowl full of berries on the nose, mineral-laced fruit in the mid palate with the structure and length that is the hallmark of Cornu-Camus wines. Drink now-2026
