Domaine Andre Colonge et Fils Fleurie 2024

94 Points (Editors’ Choice), Wine Enthusiast

A 94-point Editors’ Choice for a Beaujolais wine is so dang rare. One that we can secure for this good of a price in 2026? Even rarer. I tasted this and I was blown away. Juicy, vivacious, silky smooth. This is the best Fleurie value I’ve ever come across, and I’m not saying that lightly.

Wine Enthusiast raved, writing that the wine was “Dripping with finesse. Intoxicating aromas of red raspberry, muddled strawberry and boysenberry open on the nose buttressed by pomegranate and dried violet blossom. Pillowy tannins recede into plush, mature red fruit that flirts with chalk on the finish.” This is a smashing red wine value. One of the my best of the year, no doubt.

Original price was: $26.00.Current price is: $22.00.

Domaine André Colonge et Fils has been making wine since 1789. Six generations of family winemakers in the heart of Beaujolais, are now run by brothers Landry and Samuel Colonge. These guys are madmen in the vineyard! Everything is harvested by hand with two successive sortings—first in the vineyard, then before the grapes enter the cellar. No bad grapes make it through. That obsessive attention to quality is exactly why this wine tastes the way it does.
