The stunning 2024 Ciro Picariello Fiano di Avellino has intense aromas of smoke, summer orchard fruit and nutmeg. Linear with a creamy texture and impressive depth, the delicious, elegant palate delivers ripe yellow pear, lemon drop and a dollop of vanilla before closing on a mentholated note. Thanks to grapes selected primarily from the estate’s Summonte vineyard that reaches up to 720m above sea level that imparts great acidity and from the firm’s Montefredane site, this is one of the freshest Fianos out there. Drink or hold for even more complexity. Abv: 12.5%

A complex bouquet of crushed rock, grapefruit zest, ginger, and white peach The soothingly round palate delivers mineral-infused orchard fruits, a sensation of liquid stone, and a jolt of vibrant acidity. The finish tapers off with dramatic length, nearly salty with vivid notes of nectarine. This thrill ride of a Fiano will have a lot of fans.
