The ‘Caillotes’ refers to the unique rocky limestone-rich soils of sub region where they are that runs parallel to the silex soil of Sancerre. This wine is has a nice full mothfeel with a richness and depth that you don’t always find in Sancerre. This has some refreshing acidity which nicely balances the stone and citrus fruit with a really nice, clean and crisp finish. This is a classy bottle of wine.
