The 2023 Antidoto is made entirely from Tempranillo, vines grown over 332 plots at high altitude in different villages across Soria, 30 to 80 years old. After a short maceration of five days, fermentation takes place in stainless steel before the wine is aged five months in 600-liter French oak barrels, 25% new. The wine begs for tapas, so lovely is its supple texture and crisp red and black cherry fruit. Made in a modern style, it’s not about power as much as place, showcasing the ability to make great wine from great vineyards and grapes. It retains remarkable freshness throughout a medium-bodied core of finesse. Drink now and for the next 10 years.

The 2023 AntÃdoto is made with fruit from old vines in Soria, Ribera del Duero. Grapes are selected by vine age and fermented in steel with a small amount of residual sugar (1020 density), then the wine was aged in a mix of new and used 600-liter French oak barrels. Aromas of black cherry, plum and a soft floral note emerge over gentle oak. The palate is polished, with fine-grained tannins and juicy flow. This is a modern Ribera style, pulsing with the elegance of Soria
