1792 Small Batch is Barton’s flagship bourbon. Having undergone naming changes over the years from 1792 Ridgewood Reserve, to 1792 Ridgemont Reserve, and finally to 1792 Small Batch.
This is a special 12-year old bottling that I was able to snag just a few bottles of. It all starts with the 1792 signature “high rye” recipe (believed to be about 15-20% Rye). This delicious bourbon is the result of maturing for more than a decade in the finest charred American white oak barrels. Rich flavors of vanilla and cocoa abound in this full-bodied bourbon the delicate fruit notes in this whiskey are met with a lingering smoky finish that is more complex than most.
Out of stock
I may say this every year but it doesn’t make it less true..I have no idea how I can get a 10-year old Private Barrel Bourbon from Kentucky at 120 proof for anywhere near this price. Especially for a distillery as good as these guys. This is my 5th private barrel with Knob & I still don’t think anybody can touch the value these bottlings bring to the table. This latest barrel comes from Floor 6 and Rick 73. She was born on January 9th, 2013 and was bottled back in July. I’m thrilled with how this is drinking right out of the gates and it’s just hard to imagine this one staying in stock very long.
This is a very rare beauty and one of the few private barrels that Jefferson’s does at 100 Proof. It leads with sweet aroma of warm panatone. Then the sweet delectable taste of fruit and honey. A warm burning at the end. And the flavor of this nectar stays on your taste buds more than a couple of minutes. Best consumed relaxing and enjoying on a chilly winter day.
Our special relationship with the red-hot Wyoming Whiskey has given us some incredible opportunities. We had a ‘Steamboat’ Whiskey that was previously only for the state of Wyoming as well as our own private barrel. Now, we’ve got their super limited production of Outryder Rye. It’s not a bourbon. It’s not a true rye. The result is a incredibly unique spirit that’s great for sipping or making cocktails. This Straight American Whiskey is a blend of two distinct mashbills, an almost Rye Whiskey and a High Rye Bourbon, that represents Wyoming Whiskey’s first use of Rye.
Back in the day, Widow Jane used to be a staple at Nicholas Wines. But as its popular has gone crazy, it’s been tougher and tougher to get my hands on any. This is a hyper small batch bourbon that was aged for a minimum of thirteen years, non-chill filtered and proofed with Widow Jane’s signature limestone mineral water from the Rosendale Mines in New York. It’s a doozy of a bottle at 93 Proof and has notes of vanilla, nutmeg, graham cracker and sweet tobacco.
