Cantina Mesa is located in the gorgeously beautiful Sulcis area of southwestern Sardinia. It’s a relatively new winery with a modern twist but a clear plan for the future. Founded in 2004 by the renowned Sardinian graphic designer Gavino Sanna, the name “Mesa” itself means “table” in both Sardinian and Spanish, representing a place of gathering and celebration. The winery is dedicated to honoring the unique terroir and indigenous grape varieties of the island, particularly Carignano, through a minimalist, elegant style.
