Old Forester 1924 10-Year Old Whisky

Old Forester has been one of the best distilleries for a while now. Their special releases for me are what set them apart from their competition. This is one of those rare, limited releases the 1924 Ten-Year old Whisky that celebrates Old Forester’s 100-year anniversary.

It’s a 100 Proof (50% alc.) beauty with notes of caramel, cocoa, Turkish apricot, a hint of tobacco. On the mouth, you have a burst of cooked apple, graham cracker and cinnamon with some hints of spice and chocolate that come in towards the end. It’s a stunning release.
