Champagne Taittinger was established in 1931 by Pierre Taittinger on the foundations of Forest-Forneaux, itself established in 1734 and the third-oldest wine producing house of Champagne. The Taittinger Estate is one of the three most extensive in the Champagne district.
Their Cuvee Prestige Rose is blended from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes, giving it a succulent, fruity expression with supple and fine bubbles and a crisp, refreshing finish that lingers forever.
It boasts this intense dark pink color. It’s classic Taittinger– aromatic Pinot notes of raspberries and strawberries offset by elegant, subtle floral and earth notes. On the mouthfeel it’s full and creamy with vibrant tension, and delicately balanced by a fresh acidity which carries it all the way through.

92 Points, James Suckling
Darker color. Lots of fruit and a creamy texture with cooked apples and cherries and strawberry undertones. Medium to full-bodied. Delicious finish that is dry and fruity. Spicy. White pepper. Young strawberry at the end. Drink now.
91 Points, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
The latest release of Taittinger’s NV Brut Prestige Rosé is showing very well, revealing inviting aromas of red berries, plums, orange zest, crisp orchard fruit and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy but incisive, this bottling is based on the Brut Réserve, yet the addition of still red wine—much of which is produced in house—imparts structuring phenolics that complement the wine’s generous core of fruit to great effect. Readers should not that this cuvée’s clear glass makes it vulnerable to light strike, so it’s especially important to buy properly stored bottles.

In the 2020 vintage in Gevrey-Chambertin, yields were super low and temperatures were hotter than most Burgundian winemakers are accustomed. Many picked too late when the sugars were high and the fruit really ripe, but that was not the play. Still, Ann remained as cool in those hot temps as she did so many years ago in Napa, concentrating more on acid levels than sugars and picking at just the right time. This wine is absolutely singing – it’s an age-worthy beauty that should be even better in 4-7 years.
91 Points, James Suckling
The Bisol “Jeio” Prosecco NV is a delicious sparkler that comes from the Veneto region of northeast Italy. A brilliant straw yellow color, the first sip is an intense and fresh nose of citrus fruits and saline sensations. If you love fruit forward sparklers… this one is for you.
Fresh off a huge feature in The Wall Street Journal in which they were crowned as the top Prosecco Rose in a lineup of 14, I suspect what was once our little secret will explode. James Suckling also finally got around to tasting it and gave it 91 points. I’d rate it even higher. The 2021 Bisol Jeio Brut Prosecco Rosé is remarkable, and simply put, mouth-wateringly delicious. Inviting aromas of flowers and wild strawberries, with a complex mouthfeel that sings with citrus fruits and creaminess from the tiny crisp bubbles.
The Bernard Reverdy Sancerre Rose 2022 is gorgeous. A beautiful pale pink to the brim, this baby is fresh and super aromatic with a complex nose of citrus, wild strawberries and white flowers. With air, higher tones emerge, with a great mingling of ripe fruit, and stony minerality. Medium-bodied, fresh and focused on the palate, with concise limestone-drive acidity, this is an elegant, lively, and energetic Sancerre Rose that mirrors the warm vintage but also the old vines rooting deep in stony soils. This is so much better than your run-of-the mill Rose – it’s an ageworthy, food-friendly Rose
