Here’s how the idea was hatched: I told my suppliers that once the Nicholas Faithful gets introduced to a fabulous wine at a great price, they are extremely faithful (that’s why we call them that) and they will reorder many, many times over. The trick is just getting them to try your wines.
I told them to choose their best bottles – only the ones that are going to knock people’s socks off once they taste them and then sell them to us at a massive discount. I’ll keep the case contents a mystery so that the wineries don’t get upset about the prices on the internet.
It’s a win / win. My customers get phenomenal wines at the best prices going. And believe you me, there are some heavy hitters in the case. The high end contents of the last case left more than a few of you scratching your head on how the case price could be this low.
This one might even be better. We’ve got a Wine Spectator Top 100 wine from a hot cult producer. I’ve got a new SuperTuscan from one of the most popular producers in Nicholas Wines history, a super special bottle just for the holidays, and so much more.

#3 Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines of 2021
96 Points, Parker’s Wine Advocate – 95 Points, Wine Spectator
We are one of the very few folks who have Wine Spectator’s #3 Wine of the Year. This is definitely not one to miss. The 2016 vintage showcases this prized vineyard in all its glory; notes of wild black fruit, thyme, mint, eucalyptus, and bay are lifted and enjoyed with the polished tannin and mouthwatering freshness of this wine. Regarded as one of the best vintages in the last few decades, the 2016 Martha’s Vineyard has been aged to perfection for immediate enjoyment at release and will continue to reward for the next 20+ years.
Anne Sery describes her Trousse Chemise Cabernets as an ode to the Left Bank and her winemaking roots. It’s a beautiful and fresh Cabernet with aromas that leap from the glass with of black raspberry, violets, and creme de liquor notes. The mouth gives generous amounts of juicy black fruits at the core with hints of baking spice and a smooth, savory finish. This is a terrific partner for just about anything from hard cheese, to poultry, summer salads, you name it!

The oft 100-point winemaker, Jayson Woodbridge had this to say when tasting his 2021 ‘Stargazing’ Sonoma Pinot: “The wine is vibrant and complex with subtle dark fruits and berries, grandmother’s cherry pie, minerals, and a slight touch of rain-soaked earth, intertwined with a balance and very pleasing easy-going luxury. Should have been priced higher but what the hell.” I have no doubt this clerical error will be addressed in the vintages moving forward. But for now, this is a cult Pinot for under $100/bottle.
This is Joe Wagner and Quilt’s inaugural Red blend called Threadcount. It is a total knockout at the price point for this style of wine. It’s a big voluptuous wine and very fruit forward. The nose is straight up dark chocolate dipped raspberries and it tastes of fresh-baked blueberry pie, spice, and a touch of toffee. It’s the kind of quality blend that you’ve come to expect from the family behind Caymus.
