Parker’s Wine Advocate says that Xavier’s 100% packs a “metaphorical ton of super ripe fruit into its effusive aromas”. It’s full-bodied, dark and chewy on the palate with beautiful silky tannins and a lingering finish. I think it’s just a great wine at a phenomenal value. It’s pretty much a no brainer. Only buy a few bottles and you’ll regret it. This is definitely a case buy.

90 points – Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate – The 2015 Cotes du Rhone 100% packs a metaphorical ton of super ripe fruit into its effusive aromas. Black cherries are joined by more savory notes of dark chocolate, leather and spice on the palate, which is full-bodied yet supported by softly dusty tannins. There’s just a trace of warmth on the silky-textured finish. Enjoy this lush beauty’s ample charms over the next few years.
Just an incredible, drink everyday, bang for your buck wine… It’s pretty much a no brainer. Only buy a few bottles and you’ll regret it. This is a case buy.

The new release is here from outstanding winemaking team of Michel Rolland, Charles Thomas, Andy Erickson and David Jelenik. This one always represents one of the best quality-to-price ratios in all of Napa Cab and in the stellar 2021 vintage, this really stands out as one of the best the Valley has to offer. It’s a racy mix of Coombsville fruit from Atlas Peak that absolutely roars out of the bottle. Always one of Napa’s great bargains and a must have even as the price starts to sneak up here a little bit.
It’s no surprise the Wine Advocate has called the Ventoux a “screaming bargain.” Carved off the left bank of the Rhone River, the 2020 Delas Ventoux is a gorgeous medium-bodied wine with wonderful crushed red fruits, a silky mouthfeel, tremendous structure and that signature Rhone spice on the finish. I haven’t had this wine available for a few vintages, but I figure it’s the perfect springtime Red to bring back in the fold!

“The 2018 Palmer is a legend in the making…This audacious Palmer was still revving its engines 48 hours after opening. There will never be another Palmer like this, sui generis. It was a massive risk. But by throwing caution to the wind, something extraordinary was born.” -100 points, Vinous

The oft 100-point winemaker, Jayson Woodbridge had this to say when tasting his 2021 ‘Stargazing’ Sonoma Pinot: “The wine is vibrant and complex with subtle dark fruits and berries, grandmother’s cherry pie, minerals, and a slight touch of rain-soaked earth, intertwined with a balance and very pleasing easy-going luxury. Should have been priced higher but what the hell.” I have no doubt this clerical error will be addressed in the vintages moving forward. But for now, this is a cult Pinot for under $100/bottle.
