The Lambrusco grape has deep, deep roots in Italian winemaking history and over sixty documented clones of the grape. A lot of people made so-so Lambrusco for years, but these days it’s getting a major face lift from guys like Francesco Vezzelli. Fransesco didn’t exactly just get good at winemaking– he’s been making wine since 1958 and his Lambrusco is easily one of the best expressions you can find. He’s deeply respected by his peers and his won many local awards.
He’s been making wine since 1958 and controls every aspect of the operation from winemaking to ensuring his wine is temperature controlled every step of the way to America because he says it’s essential to preserve the wine’s freshness and incredibly fragrant aromatics. This is a delicious sparkler that is guaranteed to be the freshest, most enjoyable sparkling Lambrusco you’ve ever tasted. Precious few bottles ever leave Romagna, so this will definitely be the only chance you have at this uber-rare and unique bottling.

“The 50% Moscato Bianco, 50% Brachetto is one of the most distinctive sweet wines in all of Italy. Exotic floral and spice accents soar out of the glass. Rose petal, mint, sage, dried herbs and hard candy play off bright acids and an overall feeling of crystalline energy.” -Antonio Galloni
Fresh off a huge feature in The Wall Street Journal in which they were crowned as the top Prosecco Rose in a lineup of 14, I suspect what was once our little secret will explode. James Suckling also finally got around to tasting it and gave it 91 points. I’d rate it even higher. The 2021 Bisol Jeio Brut Prosecco Rosé is remarkable, and simply put, mouth-wateringly delicious. Inviting aromas of flowers and wild strawberries, with a complex mouthfeel that sings with citrus fruits and creaminess from the tiny crisp bubbles.
91 Points, James Suckling
The Bisol “Jeio” Prosecco NV is a delicious sparkler that comes from the Veneto region of northeast Italy. A brilliant straw yellow color, the first sip is an intense and fresh nose of citrus fruits and saline sensations. If you love fruit forward sparklers… this one is for you.
91 Points, Vinous
Eric Guido of Vinous just reviewed a number of Bele Casel wines last week and lobbed heaps of praise for each and every one of them. For this one in particular, he wrote a great review that I agree with on multiple fronts. For one, he called out ripe orchard fruits and candied citrus which I think helps set this one apart. In the dry category, you rarely get so much pure, juicy fruit as you do in this one. He also noted the “chalky minerality’ before calling out ‘the amazing length and freshness’ of this wine which called an ‘excellent entry into the dry category’.
