I have good news and bad news about the Whistle Pig 10-year American Rye. Always, the good news comes first. This is a fantastic whiskey, worthy of it’s 96-point score from Wine Enthusiast and I am offering it at the best price in the country. The Bad? I have only 12 bottles to sell. Don’t miss out on a great addition to any liquor cabinet, especially as we dive into winter.
Seductive aromas of candied apples, honeycomb and creme brulee. A big Rye (59.8% alc) with caramel, toffee and vanilla notes and a great creamy finish.

96 Points, Wine Enthusiast
A complex and subtle scent of honey, vanilla, and faint clover notes. The flavors reflect caramel, burnt orange and a whisper of smoke. The nose is rich and enticing. This is a big, mouth-coating rye that finishes long and creamy, but never loses the kick of the rye itself.

93 Points, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
This is a Nicholas Faithful favorite. Even though it’s technically a non-vintage it was last disgorged in the 2020 vintage. La Cravantine, is a sparkling rosé of 100% Cabernet Franc, bone-dry, super fresh and with bubbles so tiny and fine, it puts most “real” Champagne to shame. Appealing strawberry and mineral scents are encased in a firm structure with a dry and spicy quality in the palate. This wine is incredibly versatile – perfect with just about any fish, fried food, or do like I do and enjoy it on it’s own.
#24 Wine of the Year (2022), Wine Spectator
92 Points, Wine Spectator – 91 Points, James Suckling
“This supple red shows a core of cherry and plum fruit allied to olive, juniper and tobacco notes. Delivers well-integrated tannins and acidic structure, lingering nicely on the finish.”
True whiskey and Knob Creek enthusiasts are going to go nuts for this one. Knob Creek Rye is as outstanding as it is rare but today we’re lucky enough to bring to you, my own single barrel of it. This is a big gold expression of Rye that holds nothing back. On the nose, there are hints of dill, rye and essence of charred oak. On the palate, you are hit over the head with baking spice, honey and freshly baked bread. The finish is certainly a warm “Kentucky Hug” that goes on forever.
95 Points, Parker’s Wine Advocate – 94 Points,Wine Spectator
Robert Parker, Jr. gave it 95 points and called it “one of the finest Warre’s I’ve ever tasted” and “a profound example of Warre vintage port.” Additionally, “Tasters should take note of the wealth of peppery, licorice-scented and flavored raspberry and blackcurrant fruit. Look for it to be ready to drink in 10-12 years, and keep for 30+.”
