Louis Martini has been a fixture in St. Helena since the prohibition days of the 1930s. The Martinis were instrumental in setting up the Napa Valley Vintners association, using windmills to thwart frost, and championing Merlot before it would become the popular choice in the Valley. But all the while they’ve been making their bread-and butter-Cabernet–even earning 100-point scores from Parker’s Wine Advocate in the process.
The 2019 vintage was one of Napa’s best in the last quarter century, and the Martini Family was able to put their best foot forward, producing a Napa Valley Cabernet that can only be considered a huge steal for the price.

94 Points, James Suckling
Currant, green pine-cone and bark aromas follow through to a medium body with fine tannins and a creamy texture. Reserved at the end. Very fine and elegant.
92 Points, Wine Spectator
Ripe, but with freshness to help carry off the well-laden core of blackberry, boysenberry and black cherry compote. Reveals a nice backdrop of singed alder and mesquite as well as licorice snap, with good underlying juiciness. Best from 2023 through 2036.

It’s always nice to be in good standing with one of the most beloved wine brands in America! These won’t last long! This is an opulent, powerful dark-fruited Cabernet with tightly woven tannins, that is just raring and ready to go. Textbook, full-bodied, revved up and ready to go, this new Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet is the definition of a crowd pleaser.
Anne Sery describes her Trousse Chemise Cabernets as an ode to the Left Bank and her winemaking roots. It’s a beautiful and fresh Cabernet with aromas that leap from the glass with of black raspberry, violets, and creme de liquor notes. The mouth gives generous amounts of juicy black fruits at the core with hints of baking spice and a smooth, savory finish. This is a terrific partner for just about anything from hard cheese, to poultry, summer salads, you name it!

“The 2020 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is truly sensational. It begins with striking aromas of fresh blackberries, blueberries and dark plums that are laced with fresh spring florals, mocha, sweet exotic spices, graphite and gravel nuances all taking shape. The palate is full-bodied and displays a remarkable combination of power and elegance throughout. This is beautifully structured and extremely expressive, as it possesses outstanding depth and concentration all they way through the long, finessed finish. Year after year, the Columbia Valley Cabernet is one of the most impressive wines, and there is no exception here, as it combines all the wonderful qualities of the 2020 vintage from Quilceda Creek into one expression. This is fantastic already and readers will be in for a real treat, as this simply marvelous wine will continue to deliver the goods for years to come.”
This is a sensational single-vineyard Merlot made from incredibly tiny clusters, full of some of the most elegant, intensely structured fruit from high atop Sonoma Mountain. Beautiful weight and balance with aromas of blueberries, black currants, sage and a hint of cocoa. It’s got a full, plush mouthfeel, pristine and vibrant fruit and a wonderful smooth finish. Thanks to Chad’s big bet on himself, he was able to make a knockout Sonoma Mountain beauty, without the need for any middleman, helping us to enjoy one of his best creations at an outstanding price.
