From the two winemakers who helped put Cloudy Bay on the map in New Zealand, this is quintessential Sauvignon Blanc from NZ with everything that you could possibly want. It’s got an electricity running through the bottle with great tension and length, oozing aromas and beautifully concentrated fruit.
Together James Healy and founding viticulturalist Ivan Sutherland show that together with their Sauvignon Blancs are absolutely world-class, and that their second act after Cloudy Bay is just as compelling if not more than their first. It’s rare that you’ll have a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand with a 94 or 93 next to it, but this isn’t like pretty much any of the other NZ Sauv Blancs on the market.
The best part is the price. After taking every case of 2020 Dog Point SB left in the country, we’ve been rewarded with a sensational price that reads like a misprint. Only 12 cases total to go around though. Do not wait!

Powerful, precise and classic Dog Point Sauvignon: stylish and mineral nose of citrus and tropical fruit and an abundance of fresh herbs. All the attributes displayed in the bouquet come alive on the silky, fresh, salivating and fruity palate. A lively, refreshing example; well made, lengthy, and tasty.

This has some youthful, flinty notes with lime peel and green passion fruit, as well as peach and wet stone. The palate is crisp, composed and quite nicely coiled into shape. Punchy and pure citrus and tropical flavors sit fresh. Drink now.

“The 2018 Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard marks the beginning of winemaker Joe Nielsen’s tenure at the winery. Pouring a medium yellow with a light golden hue, it’s most reserved of the flight aromatically at the moment, with yellow chamomile flowers, ripe peach, beeswax, and white flowers. Full-bodied, it retains excellent tension and focus on the palate, with apricot, orange zest, and a savory finish with a bit of spice. I suspect this will come around and open with time. Drink 2024-2030.” -Jeb Dunnuck
The Zenato family has built up quite the reputation for delivering exceptional value with their red and whites in Veneto. Their Pinot Grigio is a particularly great value, punching way above its weight class. Delicately scented and soft on the palate, it offers classic citrus and floral notes in a balanced elegant style. It’s smooth and refreshing with a long, pleasant finish. Great with food.

If you’ve never heard of Bisci, let’s start here. Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate called Giuseppe Bisci’s Verdicchio “one of the finest I’ve ever tasted,” and noted that “Verdicchio is one of the joys of Italian oenology that rarely gets the respect it deserves, and few producers do it better than Bisci.” A staple at $85/bottle for both French Laundry and Eleven Madison Park. “Verdicchio is one of the joys of Italian oenology that rarely gets the respect it deserves, and few producers do it better than Bisci.” – The Wine Advocate
Glistening pale yellow-green to the rim, infused with mouth-watering aromas of ripe apple, pear and quince, and crushed almonds with honey and rich creamy middle and a fantastic rush of acidity and minerality that are present throughout. A calling card of Bonhomme’s Vire-Clesse, if you closed your eyes and took a sip, it would have you convinced you were drinking Meursault at least a 3x price tag.
