Chad Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2018
If you don’t know Chad, here’s the quick story. Many of the top wineries in the US can’t sell all their wine and making wine is a cash intensive biz. Chad signs an NDA, picks off the top barrel, pays cash, labels it CHAD and can’t tell a soul where it came. This exact same wine has garnered many great expert reviews and commands $40 a bottle. We just can’t tell you what it is. Ask your friends- everyone loves this wine.
Trousse Chemise Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley
This is bright and juicy Cab, loaded with flavors of cassis and black berries with just a touch of coffee and dark chocolate. It’s the perfect party Cab, delicious by itself or a great complement to just about anything off the grill.
Clos Julien Price Canyon Chardonnay 2019
The 2019 Clos Julien is a classic example of California coastal Chardonnay, zippy-fresh and long on the palate. It starts out with a great nose of Granny Smith apple, citrus rind and acacia. In the mouth, the fruit is pure, with plenty of extract and the finish is clean and crisp. This Pacific-influenced wine is the perfect house white, delicious by itself as an aperitif but a fantastic foil to the cuisine of summer, scallops, grilled poultry, and summer corn.
Domaine du Carrou Sancerre 2019
This is chiseled, tightly wound and incredibly complex Sauvignon Blanc, we would argue, one of the best in the world. Don’t miss it.
L’Effet Papillon Rosé 2019
Nearly 20 years ago, the Gallets took a chance on an ancient vineyard in Languedoc-Roussillon – and now their wines are featured in an amazing array of Michelin-starred restaurants. It’s incredibly smooth and dry, making it a great food wine– but this Rosé is serious with depth and complexity, making it guzzle worthy for springtime on the patio.
Domaine Gasnier La Cravantine NV
One of the most remarkable sparkling wines in the entire world is also incredibly affordable. It’s also pink. And it’s a complete escape in a glass and impossible to have and not turn a day around.

Pinot Noir is so food friendly, that’s one of the best parts about it. Great with meat and cheese boards, salads, pastas and just about any hunk of meat you put on a table.

100 Points, Robert Parker, Jr. – 100 Points, Lisa Perotti-Brown – 100 Points, Jeb Dunnuck
“Truly great stuff, this wine performed at a three-digit level both in the horizontal tasting of 2005s in Baltimore, as well as in Montreal at this mini-vertical. This sensational, opaque, bluish/purple wine offers up notes of vanillin, spring flowers, blueberry and blackberry liqueur, plus a touch of licorice. The wine hits the palate with a thunderous cascade of ripe, rich, concentrated fruit. It is full-bodied, multidimensional and layered. The tannins are beautifully integrated but still present, and the wood, acidity, alcohol, etc., are all beautifully assimilated in this magnificent, majestic vintage of Angelus.” -Robert Parker, Jr.
91 Points (Best Buy), Wine Enthusiast – 91 Points, James Suckling – 90 Points, Vinous
The wine was fantastic – a high-toned beauty with a super fruity and tropical nose that leads to citrus and stone fruit, amazing natural acidity, and even a streak of minerality that dazzles the palate.
This is an extraordinary chance to lock into two of the best vintages of Jordan Cabernet ever made. This is one of California’s iconic producers of Cabernet, and both the 2009 and 2010 vintages were like a dream come true for superstar winemaker Rob Davis. Most of these bottles are long gone, but luckily I manage to snag enough to offer up a 2009, 2010 side-by-side Library vertical. These will fly out the door!
