From Joe Wagner of the Caymus Family. This is a cuvee that comes from a mixture of key vineyard sources up and down Oregon’s coast.
Luckily for Joe, the 2019 vintage in Oregon is absolutely outstanding, making his job a whole lot easier to source great fruit from throughout the state. This is the result of combining the Caymus Family’s unparalleled winemaking prowess with one of the greatest Oregon vintages in its wine history.
The 2019 Elouan Oregon Pinot Noir is juiced up with vibrant flavors of raspberry, cranberries, baked cherry pie and a hint of earth. It’s packed with crushed red fruits and finishes with soft, refined tannins that leave a great aftertaste. It’s a great choice any time of the year– delicious by itself or paired with just about anything. aftertaste. “The 2018 Palmer is a legend in the making…This audacious Palmer was still revving its engines 48 hours after opening. There will never be another Palmer like this, sui generis. It was a massive risk. But by throwing caution to the wind, something extraordinary was born.” -100 points, Vinous
Not Eligible for Futher Discount-From famed winemaker, Robert Foley comes an absolute delight of a bottle of wine. A seamless Bordeaux blend of 80% Cabernet, 17% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot that is incredibly smoothly now but should have another decade easy of prime drinking. It is the definition of a Saturday Night bottle of wine. One to cherish for a special occasion.
This is Joe Wagner and Quilt’s inaugural Red blend called Threadcount. It is a total knockout at the price point for this style of wine. It’s a big voluptuous wine and very fruit forward. The nose is straight up dark chocolate dipped raspberries and it tastes of fresh-baked blueberry pie, spice, and a touch of toffee. It’s the kind of quality blend that you’ve come to expect from the family behind Caymus.

“The 2021 Malbec Reserva, from Vistalba, Lujan de Cuyo, was 60% aged in barrels for 12 months. Purple in color. The nose presents notes of fresh plum and violets, white pepper, strawberry, hints of spice and aromas from the aging process. It’s initially indulgent in the mouth, with good fat, and volume and a velvety texture. The flavors are bold and full-bodied. This 2021 overdelivers at the price.” -Vinous
