Dominique et Janine Crochet Sancerre Cuvee Prestige 2020

The newly release 2020 Crochet Sancerre Blanc “Cuvee Prestige” was almost always an exclusive for some of the top restaurants in NYC at a $65/btl+ price tag. But after the pandemic, things changed a bit, and we finally have a small allocation carved out. Even with Danny Meyer picking right back up where he left off, Teddy has given us a one-time shot at this special wine as a thank you to the Nicholas faithful.

A very special wine, a single-vineyard bottling under a special label offered at a price that sounds too good to be true. The “Cuvee Prestige” is vibrant and fresh, with aromas and flavors of granny smith apple, quince and that stony finish so indicative of the hillsides of Bué. If you love Sancerre– this may be one where one case isn’t enough.

Original price was: $30.00.Current price is: $25.00.

Dominique and Janine’s 2020 Crochet Sancerre Blanc “Cuvee Prestige” is almost exclusively destined for a handful of the top restaurants in NYC including some owned by Danny Meyer. But after the pandemic, as a thank you from Teddy, we’re able to secure a small allocation of the “Cuvee Prestige” in the new 2020 vintage. This one is electric with tension, fresh aromas of white peach, granny smith apple, quince and that stony finish so indicative of the hillsides of Bué. Definitely won’t last here long – don’t miss it!
