Château des Bormettes is located near Provence’s Saint Martin Peak, set back in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and benefitting from air currents between two important geographic landmarks: the Massif des Maures and the Iles d’Or.
They gain an advantage on their neighbors by picking their grapes at night to maximize aromatic potential and reduce color extraction. In the cellar, the search for freshness continues and the resulting Argentière Rosé – named after the nearby Argentière Beach where silver (argent) was mined – is bright and expressive with aromas and flavors of Bing cherries, raspberry, peach, citrus and melon.

90 Points, Wine Enthusiast
The wine has a fine texture with pepper and red fruit acidity. Lemon zest and fresh fruits lead the wine’s mineral edge. It’s a fine wine that will be ready to drink from late 2022.

The 2022 Hampton Water Rose from the south of France is such an electric wine, people are really going to love it. It’s a lively Rose with tons of personality, with some great minerality, crispness, and bright red fruits. There’s so much energy and tension here as well as a little bit of spice that comes in the end. Everything you’re looking for in a serious Rose.
From the famous family behind Peyrassol, comes a new Cotes du Provence smash hit. The wine is pale pink in color with notes of small wild berries on the nose complemented by a hint of juniper. This spiciness lends weight to the liveliness on the palate reminiscent of exotic citrus fruits, creating a crisp, harmonious and refreshing ensemble. Spice lingers on the palate for a full and round finish.

“This supple red shows a core of cherry and plum fruit allied to olive, juniper and tobacco notes. Delivers well-integrated tannins and acidic structure, lingering nicely on the finish.”

“The 2019 Oublié is a blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Tannat and Petite Sirah with a medium ruby-purple color. The nose offers gregarious mixed berry preserves and accents of potpourri, mint and fragrant earth. The palate offers juicy appeal and powerful fruit with loads of spice and floral perfume, bursts of freshness and firm, pleasantly rustic tannins, finishing very long.” -Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
